Sometimes I document things in my home-studio through a corresponding and escalating collection of watercolours. Although I try not to buy new plastic things for my own homeloading I am drawn to it as if it were honey.

Sandra is a Sydney-based artist who relishes the process of re-layering her handmade images of the everyday alongside a candy allsorts of street throw-outs to form playful, eco-relational installations.

Sandra has participated widely in artist residency programs, exhibitions and collaborative projects. I Give To You the Palaces of Montezuma (title from a Grinderman love song) was shaped into something like a Christmas bauble for the SLOT window gallery in Redfern, partly as a tribute to the years when she was the proprietor of the sassy vintage shop Broadway Betty in the 2000s.
